Chart of Accounts
The chart of accounts is the fundamental structure of the accounting system.
Account Classifications
- Assets (1xxx): Cash, banks, inventory, customers
- Liabilities (2xxx): Suppliers, loans, debts
- Equity (3xxx): Capital, retained earnings
- Revenue (4xxx): Sales, other income
- Expenses (5xxx): Operations, salaries, rent
Add New Account
- Go to Accounting > Chart of Accounts
- Click Add Account
- Select parent account
- Enter account number and name
- Set account nature (debit/credit)
